PCC's mission is to advocate, assess, monitor, and connect participants to community services that maintain their health, safety, and independence. With a focus on individualized services through a participant-centered interdisciplinary team approach, PCC provides services under Community HealthChoices, Nursing Home Transition, the Office of Long Term Living, the OBRA Waiver, and Act 150 Program.
Role Description
This is a full-time position is located in Philadelphia, PA, and is an in-office position. The Quality Assurance Assistant will be responsible for supporting quality control processes, conducting quality assurance reviews, and assisting with quality management initiatives. Additional tasks include compiling and analyzing data, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and communicating findings and recommendations to the team.
Key Responsibilities
- π Conduct satisfaction surveys with participants by phone
- π§ Follow up with high-utilizing participants to explore preventative care options
- π Monitor and report on utilization metrics and performance indicators
- π Analyze care data and support reporting for MCO business reviews
- π§ Support quality improvement initiatives across the organization
- β Maintain documentation and data in compliance with HIPAA & PHI regulations
Qualifications
- Possess Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills
- Strong Analytical Skills and experience in Quality Management
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong Excel and data visualization/reporting experience
- Interest in healthcare quality, care coordination, and value-based care
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently and within a team
- Background in healthcare, data analytics or related field is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Public Health, Health Sciences, or related field preferred
- Prior experience in health systems or Medicaid/Medicare programs a plus
