- Ensure that stock lists, fabrication outputs, and deliveries meet established quality standards.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce QA/QC frameworks, procedures, and testing protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Analyze error and rework data to identify trends and root causes.
- Calculate true cost impacts of errors and provide detailed financial reporting.
- Present insights to leadership through clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations.
- Identify and address process inefficiencies in design, fabrication, and delivery.
- Implement strategies that improve accuracy, reduce rework, and optimize operations.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to enhance quality standards and accountability.
- Attend weekly design and fabrication meetings.
- Lead weekly QA/QC team meetings to review issues and drive solutions.
- Provide ongoing feedback to teams to eliminate recurring errors and reinforce compliance.
- Associate’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent practical experience.
- Proven experience in quality assurance/control within fabrication, manufacturing, or construction environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, dashboards).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
- Familiarity with fabrication shop processes, pipe systems, fittings, valves, and devices.
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems is preferred, but not required.
