Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Group Facilitator to join our luxury Primary Mental Health Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient (IOP) program. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills and experience working with individuals struggling with primary mental health disorders. This role involves facilitating structured therapeutic groups in the evening two times per week, contributing to a supportive, healing, and growth-oriented environment for our clients.
Schedule: 5:15pm - 8:30pm (at least 2x per week, open to more)
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging and clinically appropriate group therapy sessions focused on mental health, wellness, and recovery.
- Support clients in developing coping skills, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure continuity of care and alignment with individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain professional documentation of group sessions, client participation, and progress.
- Provide a safe, supportive, and therapeutic group environment consistent with program philosophy and standards.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree or higher in a related behavioral health field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy).
- Experience working with the primary mental health population required.
- Registered Interns or individuals working toward licensure are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Strong group facilitation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to commit to on-site evening groups two times per week.
