**DO NOT CONTACT SCHOOL-PLEASE REFER TO JOB DESCRIPTION** FULL DETAILS ON MAIN JOB POST (CLICK OFFSITE LINK) Must be a California resident and remain a California resident while employed. This position is Remote however it will require occasional in-person attendance in Southern and/or Northern California, approximately, but not limited to 2-4 multi-day events a year. [All locations are linked to one posting so there is no need to submit multiple applications for this position.]. The Transition Specialist coordinates compliant student exits and transitions into appropriate educational settings for students who are not meeting program expectations. This position ensures that all student exits are properly documented with valid enrollment outcomes in accordance with CALPADS requirements. The Transition Specialist is responsible for processing referrals, verifying subsequent enrollment, and maintaining required documentation to prevent students from being classified as dropouts. This role directly supports accurate reporting and the school’s graduation rate. This is a full-time position, employees must be available to take work related calls and attend meetings as needed with minimum disruption, Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm.
