General Function
Under the direction of the Project Director the TYFS Program Coordinator will be responsible for administering all facets of the organization’s summer job ready training and employment internship program, Training Youth for Success Program (TYFS). The TYFS Program Coordinator will be accountable for the administration assistance of overall programming and services which includes but is not limited to: program oversight-monitoring and evaluating TFYS Supervisors, job-site supervision, program assistance, classroom management, technical assistance, evaluations, state required reporting at the beginning and end of program, project planning, special event coordination, project documentation and program summary report and evaluation. The TYFS Program Coordinator will also assist with the management and facilitation of training. Specific program areas include: assisting with the program mandatory orientation, program participant new hire orientation, field trip monitors and chaperones, attendance, program management of guest speakers, activities, job-site activities management, data and attendance tracking, progress reports assistance and assistance in planning the program awards celebration program. Assist leadership with grant tracking and reporting.

Pay & Schedule
$22.00/hr. from 9:30am-4:30pm, 5 days/week.
Start Date May 27, 2026, End Date: July 17, 2026
Qualifications:
Education & Skills Needed
BA/BS or higher is preferred. Applicants must have basic programming skills, time management and organization skills with special emphasis on youth development and activities. The ability to relate to all youth ages 14 & older is essential. Experience with community-based programs, groups, organizations and not-for-profit organizations is vital. Due to the diversity of responsibility, a high degree of organizational ability is needed. Strong communication skills are necessary, reporting skills, public relations and excellent time management and personal assertiveness are key. Requirements
Supervision experience to oversee supervisors at job ready program and employment internship sites. Ensure implementation of policies and practices. Must be dependable, must be confidential, must be honest, must be able to work with a diverse demographic population & must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to handle conflict resolution and manage conversations with students and parents. Must pass criminal background check and drug test. Valid driver's license, good driving record, and reliable/available transportation to visit job sites. Must work two evenings during program. Must be able to collect data & submit reports. Be available to attend MANDATORY Trainings and Work Dates June 8th, through July 10th, Mandatory TYFS Orientation on Tuesday, June 2nd @ 5:30pm-8:30pm.
