Opportunity Overview
We are partnering with a well‑established commercial construction company that is seeking a part‑time Controller / Financial Consultant to support month‑end close activities and assist with a system transition. This role is ideal for a hands‑on construction accounting professional who can quickly step in, work within existing processes, and provide immediate value during a critical period.
Key Responsibilities
- Support general bookkeeping and month‑end close activities in the legacy system (Eclipse) to expedite completion of April close
- Assist with PO creation, receiving, and AP matching in Acumatica
- Provide accounts payable support in Acumatica
- Support inventory‑related accounting in Acumatica
- Assist with cash management and related reporting in Acumatica
- Partner with internal accounting and operations teams to ensure a smooth transition between systems
Ideal Background
- Strong construction accounting experience with hands‑on transactional support
- Familiarity with Acumatica and construction ERP environments strongly preferred
- Detail‑oriented, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal ramp‑up
- Practical, solutions‑focused professional comfortable in a fast‑moving environment
