CLIENT SERVICES/LAB ASSISTANT
Position Type:
- Full-time, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Location: 2841 Juniper Dr, Suite 1, Lewiston, Idaho 83501
Primary Function: Responsible for triaging phone calls, filing slides, setting up and accession of pap smears, and other duties related to day-to-day operations.
Work Performed:

- Understand and adhere to all safety and HIPAA related standards to ensure high quality patient care.
- Provide superior customer service to all patients and clients.
- General clerical duties include answering multiple phone lines, accurate data entry, faxing, filing, and taking messages.
- Establishes strong working relationships with clients and laboratory staff to ensure effective communication and client satisfaction.
- Create and distribute daily agenda.
- Set up and accession of pap smear samples and assisting with other general lab duties.
- Maintains all records required by laboratory guidelines.
- Keeps up to date on Medicare compliance.
- Complies with established laboratory policies, procedures, and standards of operation.
- Complies with laws, regulations, and ethical standards concerning laboratory business and patient confidential information.
- Assist in the training of new employees as requested.
- Attends meetings such as in-service meetings, department meetings, etc.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience Background:
- Typing, data entry, and technical skills preferred.
- Customer service mindset and experience preferred.
- Medical knowledge and experience preferred.
- Ability to excel in fast paced environment.
Educational Background:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Licenses:
- Valid driver's license required.
