More than 600 residents currently benefit from safe housing and a team of social workers offering supportive services to promote long-term stability. In addition to housing programs, Pathlight HOME operates social enterprises, including Pathlight Kitchen and Sobik’s Café, which provide culinary training to help community members overcome employment barriers and achieve higher wages.
This is a full-time, on-site Billing Specialist role based in Orlando, FL. The Billing Specialist will handle daily billing operations, including managing client billing, processing invoices, and ensuring accurate records for all financial transactions. Responsibilities include preparing and reviewing billing statements, addressing client billing inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to maintain efficient financial workflows. The role requires attention to detail, consistent communication with clients, and adherence to accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Billing Process and Client Billing
- Experience in Invoicing and handling financial transactions
- Strong Communication skills for client interaction and internal collaboration
- Understanding of Accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software or related tools
- Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Prior experience in a nonprofit or housing-focused organization is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
