GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Trains and monitors Supported Employment Instructors. Provides Job Development in the community and assist Job Instructors with placement and job match for the individuals we serve. Monitors community sites on a regular basis. Does Supported Employment Instructor Duties as assigned.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists Supported Employment Supervisor in maintaining billing forms for the Supported Employment program. This duty is performed weekly.
- Leads and provides training to certify Supported Employment Instructors. This duty is performed as needed.
- Assists with ongoing training of Supported Employment Instructors regarding assessment, job match, job coaching, job development and employer relations. This duty is performed daily.
- Provides assistance to department in overseeing that Supported Employment Billing is correct, signed, and turned in on a timely schedule. This duty is performed daily.
- Assists with coordinating Supported Employment client appointments with appropriate Pathfinder Departments and staff to ensure efficient and effective services for individuals served. This duty is performed as needed.
- Assists Residential Case Managers in securing appropriate job placements for individuals served. This duty is performed as needed.
- Identifies employers and jobs for individuals we serve and develops relationships with the business and industry community. This duty is performed monthly.
- Represents Pathfinder in a neat and professional manner as a liaison to the work community. This duty is performed daily.
- Researches newspapers, websites, agencies, and job fairs for job leads for the individuals we serve. This duty is performed monthly.
- Assists Supported Employment Instructors with individual Assessment, Job Match and Task Analysis for individuals we serve. This duty is performed daily.
- Assists with preparing and assigning Supported Employment Instructors Schedules. This duty is performed as needed.
- Communicates Supported Employment Instructor Schedule to department supervisor. This duty is performed as needed.
- Assists Supported Employment Instructors, Employer, and Individual we serve when issues arise on the job site. This duty is performed as needed.
- Monitors and reports Job Instructor performance and issues to department supervisor. This duty is performed weekly.
- Onsite Monitoring of job placement sites and Instructors on a regular basis. This duty is performed weekly.
- Routes billing paperwork from Supported Employment Instructor to department supervisor in a timely manner. This duty is performed weekly.
- Provides Supported Employment Instructor Services to individuals we serve when necessary. This duty is performed daily.
- Coordinate and serve as a liaison in the supported employment program with Case Managers, Adult Development programs, ICF/MR and Community Based Waiver programs to ensure eligibility paperwork is turned in, and ensure efficient and effective services for individuals served. This duty is performed as needed.
- Provide Public Relations to include introduction of programs to individuals, families, schools, businesses and community. This duty is performed as needed.
- Assists Residential Case Manager/Supportive Employment position as requested by Residential Director. This duty is performed as needed.
- Assists in developing and presenting training material for Supported Employment Instructors. This duty is performed quarterly.
- Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, plus 2 years related experience and/or training. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be willing and able to be trained and certified as a Supported Employment Job Coach (provided). Must possess valid Arkansas State driver's license and current auto liability insurance and registration and able to drive to various locations in Arkansas.
