Position Overview
Are you a passionate artist with a heart for teaching and a love for the Lord? Our vibrant Christian homeschool community is looking for a creative mentor to help our students explore their God-given talents!
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a part-time Art Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on lessons for students (Grades 6-12). This is more than just a drawing class—it’s an opportunity to help children see the beauty of Creation and express their faith through various mediums. This class will meet for one semester/16 weeks.
What We’re Looking For:
- Creative Expertise: Skilled in various techniques (sketching, painting, clay, mixed media, etc.).
- Encouraging Spirit: Ability to cultivate a positive, patient, and inspiring classroom environment.
- A view of the Arts through a Biblical Worldview
The Details:
- When: Once a week for an hour and a half (Tuesday or Thursday TBD)
- Commitment: Fall Semester 2026 School Year
- Where: Milford, Ohio 45150

Qualifications & Requirements
- Faith Commitment: A dedicated follower of Jesus Christ who agrees with our Statement of Faith and is eager to model Christian character to students.
- Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in Art or a Fine Arts degree is appreciated but not required
- Teaching Experience: Prior experience teaching middle school and/or high school students and a love for the subject and the students is highly valued; experience within the homeschool community or a co-op setting is a plus.
- Logistics: Must be able to pass a background check and possess the organizational skills to manage a classroom effectively
