Your Role: Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative and clerical support to attorneys and paralegals
- Draft, proofread, and format legal correspondence and basic documents
- File and serve legal documents, including e-filing with California courts
- Maintain and organize case files, both physical and electronic
- Manage attorney calendars, schedule hearings, and track deadlines
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, and internal staff
- Prepare and process outgoing mail, scanning, copying, and data entry
- Assist with discovery preparation and document production
- Support high-volume caseloads while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Follow established procedures consistently and effectively
- Use Microsoft Office and law office software proficiently
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years of legal assistant or administrative legal experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with California court systems and e-filing is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to multitask
- Must be dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must pass a background and drug test
