QA Specialist – IME Reports (Remote)

PKPR is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist to review Independent Medical Examination (IME) reports for accuracy, consistency, formatting, grammar, and compliance prior to submission.

This is a remote position ideal for someone with experience in medical-legal documentation, No-Fault/Workers’ Compensation reports, or medical transcription/editing.

Responsibilities:

·      Review IME reports for spelling, grammar, and formatting errors

·      Ensure consistency between history, examination findings, diagnosis, and discussion sections

·      Verify ROM values, body parts, dates, pronouns, and treatment recommendations for accuracy

·      Ensure that medical opinions are well-supported, evidence-based, and clearly stated

·      Confirm reports meet client and physician-specific requirements

·      Identify missing information, contradictions, or incomplete sections

·      Communicate corrections and revisions professionally with staff/providers

·      Maintain turnaround times and workflow deadlines

Qualifications:

·      Experience with IME, peer review, No-Fault, Workers’ Compensation, medical-legal reports preferred, or related healthcare field

·      Strong attention to detail

·      Excellent grammar and proofreading skills

·      Familiarity with orthopedic, neurological, pain management terminology, and psychiatry

·      Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

·      Experience with Microsoft Word and PDF editing

Preferred Experience:

·      QA/QC of medical reports

·      Medical scribe or transcription background

·      Knowledge of AMA ROM guidelines and IME terminology
