TRANSPORTATION CONSTRUCTION ASSISTANT

PATEL Infrastructure is seeking a full-time Transportation Construction Assistant (TA-1 and TA-2) for our CM/CI team for PennDOT projects in PennDOT District 5-0 & PennDOT District 8-0 for our Harrisburg office located at 4701 Devonshire Rd, Ste 101, Harrisburg, PA 17109.

Responsibilities Include

• Conducting inspections on highways and bridges to ensure adherence to plans and specifications and documenting the construction progress accordingly.
• Daily inspection and documentation of contractor field activities, serving as a client representative.
• Daily communication is essential among the inspection team, contractor, and client.
• Additional responsibilities may involve preparing Project Site Activity (PSA) reports and utilizing electronic tablets and computers.
  
  

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Valid Driver's License is Required.
• Basic computer skills to use an electronic tablet and computer for reviewing construction drawings/specifications and completing project documentation are required.
• Navigate construction sites in different types of terrain and weather conditions.
• Work hours may include day and/or night shift work, and weekends, based on the type of operation taking place.
• Communication - Both verbal and writing skills are required.
