PATEL Infrastructure is seeking a full-time Senior Structural Engineer for our Harrisburg office located at 4701 Devonshire Rd, Ste 101, Harrisburg, PA 17109.
Responsibilities Include
- Executing bridge design and load assessments following AASHTO, PennDOT, and MBE guidelines and standards.
- Supporting the creation and oversight of schedules, estimates, and budgets.
- Contributing to various projects/tasks to guarantee project success.
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
- Minimum experience of 10 to 15 years in bridge design, inspection and/or load rating, with specific experience on PennDOT projects.
- PE license.
- PennDOT CBSI preferred.
- Must have excellent technical, verbal, interpersonal and meticulous written communication skills.
- Experience with BAR7, AASHTOWare BrR, Staad, Larsa 4D, and/or Descus is expected.
- Ability to solve complex level engineering problems.
- Familiarity with clients' design protocols, specifications, and format for presenting plans.
- Engage in project site visits, project progress meetings, and public gatherings.
