SCHEDULE: Service: Wed, Thurs 2:30/3:00pm – 11:00pm & Fri, Sat 2:30/3:00pm – 12:00am

SUMMARY:
Queen Jayne's Lounge and Royal Drinkery offers expertly crafted cocktails, delicious small plates, and an elevated bourbon and spirits menu! The space provides a truly unique, warm, and upscale experience that currently does not exist in the local area. We are looking for our next LEADER to inspire growth, hospitality, and Remarkable Service.
As the Bar Manager, you will serve in a critical role during all open business hours. You will own the day-to-day tasks and lead the Team, handle all customer issues and questions, and ensure that all opening and closing tasks are completed. You will also be accountable for the backend business functions such as hiring, scheduling, inventory management, and the creation or refining of systems and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead the team during service by delegating tasks, addressing concerns as they come up, and making sure systems run smoothly
Create a standout guest experience by acting as a welcoming host, seating guests thoughtfully, and handling any issues with care and professionalism
Be a hands-on team player—jump in wherever needed, support the team, and help maintain a positive, respectful work environment
Handle day-to-day management tasks, including keeping POS (Square) and inventory systems (BevSpot) accurate and organized
Oversee inventory and ordering of all beverages and supplies; ensure organization and accuracy.
Take ownership of opening and closing duties, including team checklists, end-of-day POS procedures, cash handling, and securing the space
Build and support the team by managing schedules and availability, hiring, and training new team members
Assist with private events by supporting the Events Manager and serving as a day-of point of contact when needed
REQUIREMENTS
· Experience leading a Team within Food and Beverage
· Excellent hospitality and service skills, a true love for meeting and serving people with a natural tendency to build connections
· Team player with a strong motivation to do whatever it takes to ensure the success of the Team as a whole; a willingness to jump in wherever you are needed
· Shows up every day with a positive attitude ready to work, learn, and grow.
· A passion for the food and beverage industry; specifically, craft cocktails and wine
· Experience with Square and/or BevSpot (preferred but not required)
· Bartending experience (preferred but not required)
