In this vital role, you will serve as the primary liaison between patients and the practice, guiding them through treatment options, scheduling appointments, and ensuring a seamless patient experience. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, assess their needs, and explain treatment plans clearly and confidently.
- Coordinate treatment schedules, appointments, and follow-up visits efficiently.
- Educate patients on orthodontic or specialty procedures, financing options, and post-treatment care.
- Collaborate closely with dental specialists and clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow and patient satisfaction.
- Manage patient records accurately using dental management software, including medical history and treatment notes.
- Assist in insurance verification, billing processes, and financial arrangements for treatments.
- Maintain a friendly, professional environment that encourages patient trust and loyalty.
Skills
- Proven experience in medical or dental office administration with a focus on patient coordination.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to orthodontics or specialty dentistry.
- Excellent communication skills to explain complex treatment options clearly and motivate patients.
- Ability to support medical administrative tasks such as scheduling, insurance processing, and record keeping.
