Responsibilities include:
- Prepare and seat patients comfortably for treatment
- Assist the orthodontist during procedures and adjustments
- Place and remove archwires, ties, and appliances as directed
- Take digital scans, photos, impressions, and X-rays (per regulations)
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and appliance care
- Maintain accurate clinical notes and records
- Set up and break down treatment rooms efficiently
- Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols
- Stock and organize orthodontic supplies
- Maintain a clean, professional clinical environment
- Communicate clearly with patients, parents, and team members
