What are the responsibilities and job description for the Perennial Plant Assistant/Sales position at Passiglia's Nursery?
This is a full time position with a main focus in our perennial/annual plant department.
This job is a very physical position and does require plant knowledge and experience working in a greenhouse/garden center business.
Floral design experience is also very helpful.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- maintaining plants
- unloading and a tagging incoming material
- customer sales service
- interaction with customers over the phone, and in-person
- Help resolve problems, offer guidance, and build loyalty
- Maintaining store displays and workspace
Key elements include organizational skills, able to complete tasks in a timely manner, problem solving skills, and energetic personality. This position requires to work most weekends with some flexibility through summer and early fall. Hours would be 30 to 40 hours a week based on the season (flexibility).
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
