Passero's Coffee Roasters is seeking a dependable and organized Café Manager to oversee daily café operations and support the team in providing efficient, welcoming service. This role involves coordinating staff, maintaining service standards, monitoring café supplies, supporting customer needs, and helping ensure smooth day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is professional, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced coffee environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily café operations and service activities
- Coordinate staff assignments and workflow during each shift
- Support baristas and café team members with daily responsibilities
- Monitor beverage quality, order accuracy, and customer-service standards
- Assist with training, onboarding, and coaching of team members
- Respond to customer questions and routine service concerns professionally
- Monitor coffee, food, packaging, and other café supplies
- Assist with inventory, ordering, receiving, and restocking as needed
- Support POS operations and routine cash-handling procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked café areas
- Coordinate opening and closing procedures
- Follow food-safety, sanitation, and company operating procedures
- Communicate staffing, supply, and operational needs to management
Qualifications
- Previous café, coffee shop, restaurant, hospitality, or food-service experience
- Previous supervisory, team-lead, or management experience is preferred
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Dependable, organized, and comfortable taking responsibility
- Ability to manage multiple tasks during busy service periods
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with POS systems, inventory, and café operations is helpful
- Ability to train, support, and work effectively with a team
