Responsibilities
- Develops structural solutions for small to mid-sized engineering projects and serves as a key contributor on larger, more complex projects involving both existing building renovations and new construction.
- Performs structural analysis and design of buildings and structural systems utilizing engineering software and hand calculations to validate design assumptions and outcomes.
- Develops innovative design approaches and engineering production methods that improve project efficiency, quality, and overall deliverables.
- Production of structural construction drawings, specifications, calculations, and technical reports using CAD/BIM technologies.
- Coordinates with multidisciplinary project teams to ensure integration of structural systems with architectural and MEP disciplines.
- Conducts project site visits, field investigations, condition assessments, and construction administration activities, including shop drawing and submittal reviews.
- Maintains high standards of professional and ethical conduct.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural Emphasis) or related field from an ABET-accredited program; Master's degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) required.
- Strong working knowledge of the International Building Code (IBC), ASCE 7, AISC Steel Manual, ACI 318, and other applicable structural design standards.
- Experience designing steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
- Proficiency with REVIT and structural drafting/modeling software.
- Experience with RAM, RISA, ENERCALC, ETABS, SAP2000, or similar structural analysis software.
- Familiarity with seismic and wind design principles and code requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities while meeting project schedules.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Salary : $65,000 - $80,000
