What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Analyst - Intern (PT) position at Passaic County Community College?
We are seeking a Purchasing Analyst Intern who, under the supervision of the Director of Purchasing, performs a wide range of administrative and data analysis tasks related to the procurement of goods and services.
This is an hourly, part-time position.
Example of Duties:
- Perform data analysis, data processing as well as other clerical and routine duties.
- Perform market research, price analyses and related tasks.
- Solicit pricing, quotes and proposals and perform related analysis.
- Perform troubleshooting, research transactions and resolve both internal and external inquiries.
- Administrate various online procurement platforms.
- Maintains record and files, to include electronic databases.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Current college student or recent college graduate. Supply chain, finance or business discipline preferred.
- Zero to two (0-2) years of related experience.
- Excellent math and communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS works, Excel, and ERP systems.
- Able to work well with staff and students in a cooperative and professional manner.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.
Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The hourly pay range for this position is $17-$21.
