The PURCHASING INTERN will work closely with purchasing department, team of 4 people. Purchasing team is responsible for acquiring raw materials needed for production of fragrance. This team works closely with Production Planning, Finance, Business Intelligence, Quality Control, Regulatory and Logistics teams.

The PURCHASING INTERN will work closely with purchasing department, team of 4 people. Purchasing team is responsible for acquiring raw materials needed for production of fragrance. This team works closely with Production Planning, Finance, Business Intelligence, Quality Control, Regulatory and Logistics teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the local RFQ process ensuring competitive supplier bids and alignment with internal requirements, from launch to supplier identification and final recommendation
- Evaluate delivered pricing for purchases from affiliates, BSL and MASA
- Build GPMS forecast prices for all locally purchased items.
- Update and Maintain Master Data for raw materials, while supporting with OPTIMA as needed.
- Lead risk management to effectively address supply challenges; identify and execute purchasing strategy to mitigate purchase cost variances.
- Capable of developing effective working relationships to support stakeholders
- Consistent with MANE’s environmental commitments, every employee shall actively participate in relevant education/training based upon corporate and local environmental objectives. Where these objectives are relevant to job-related and job-specific roles and responsibilities, each employee shall adhere to applicable environmental policies and procedures, as well as act on best practices.
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Individuals should have completed a minimum of their first semester of college.
- Duration: 10 weeks (starting early June through early August)
- Environment: Full time, in office, 5 days a week
- Community: Join a cohort of interns, building friendships and a support network.
- Capstone Project: You’ll complete a capstone project that highlights your work and learnings, which you’ll present at the end of the program.
- Engagement: We’ll check in with you every two weeks, and there will be community-building activities to ensure a well-rounded and enjoyable experience.
