What are the responsibilities and job description for the Course Navigator (PT) position at Passaic County Community College?
We are seeking student course navigators that support both students and professors with fundamental course technology management, facilitating communication between students and faculty, and providing student perspective
This is a part-time, hourly position.
Examples of Duties:

Attend all scheduled classes
- Set up the technology in the classroom
- Manage Zoom from laptop
- Troubleshoot technology issues to prevent loss of class time
- Be able to multitask and communicate well with students and faculty
- Assist with student questions, communicating student questions to the professor

Moderate Zoom meetings
- Manage Zoom functions
- Create and facilitate breakout room; launch polls
Qualifications:
- Some College with a minimum of 20 college-level credits
Course Navigators will work in-person on campus.
The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidates.
Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $15.65.
