We are seeking an Administrative Assistant who contributes to and supports the objectives of the Human Resources Department.
Duties May Include But Are Not Limited To
- Provide clerical and administrative assistance with various Human Resources functions, including but not limited to compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, compliance, records management, recruiting, health and safety, leaves of absence, employee engagement, and special projects as assigned
- Maintain both electronic employee files
- Maintain accurate, current data in Human Resources Management System
- Track and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding process
- Prepare reports by assembling, preparing, and analyzing data.
- Maintain various employment law posters and human resources publications at all company locations
- Schedule employees for training

Education/ Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience in Human Resources department desirable
- Current, valid California Driver License with good driving record (as determined by the Company) required
- Bilingual English & Spanish strongly preferred
- Must be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to perform duties with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
- Must be able to take direction
- Must be able a self-starter who works well both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- High level of proficiency with administrative and clerical procedures as well as using office equipment
- Advanced computer skills with Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint software applications required; advanced skills with Paycom highly desirable
- Able to address and prioritize multiple task demands within established time frames
- Must be flexible in work hours in order to meet facility needs
- Must maintain self-control in volatile or hostile situations, such as when verbally or physically confronted; must be able to set therapeutic limits and maintain therapeutic distance with clients and maintain therapeutic boundaries with clients during treatment and after discharge
- Normal demands associated with an office environment
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for periods of time, and bend, twist, reach occasionally
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to work using a computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to recognize faces
- Ability to distinguish colors as necessary
- Ability to hear sufficiently and speak clearly on the phone, in person, and in the environment, identify and distinguish sounds associated with the workplace
- Ability to communicate with others by telephone, email, and personal interaction
- Ability to see adequately to read computer screens and written documents necessary to the position
- Office environment with moderate noise level
- Residential environment with moderate noise level
- Travel between company locations in Los Angeles and Ventura counties is required.
- This position requires occasional driving as duties dictate.
- Must satisfy post-offer, pre-employment conditions such as tuberculosis screening (annually thereafter), background check (including criminal and driving record check), drug screening, reference check. Ongoing monitoring and screenings during employment in accordance with law and company policy.
