What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adult Behavioral Health Peer Specialist - Intensive Residential Team position at Passages Family Support?
Passages Family Support is recruiting for a Peer Specialist who will be a member of the Intensive Residential Team. The Intensive Residential Team (IRT) program provides behavioral health services to individuals who have discharged from an inpatient psychiatric facility to an assisted living facility in the community. The Peer Specialist will provide peer support and be an active member of the team. Peer Specialists must be certified peer counselors. Travel throughout Spokane County will be required. Peer Specialists must self-identify as an adult (18 and older) who either in the past has received or currently is the recipient of mental health services in either the public system or private sector and who has been in recovery for at minimum two years. A sign on bonus is provided.
