Experienced Painter- Residential and apartment turnovers

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and residential painting, with a strong focus on restoring surfaces to their original condition. This role requires proficiency with hand tools and an understanding of various materials including stucco and caulking. The Painter will work on construction sites, collaborating with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Restore and maintain the appearance of surfaces through touch-ups and refinishing.
• Collaborate with carpenters and other trades to ensure seamless project execution.
• Utilize hand tools effectively for preparation and application tasks.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards while working on construction sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the duration of the project.

Experience

• Proven experience in industrial painting and residential painting is preferred.
• Familiarity with restoration techniques for various surfaces is a plus.
• Experience with caulking and stucco application is desirable.
• Background in frame carpentry or welding is beneficial but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment on construction sites while adhering to deadlines.
