Key Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming walls, ceilings, trim, and doors
- Paint interior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish
- Perform unit turns, including repainting apartments to company standards within designated timelines
- Repair minor drywall damage, including holes, cracks, and imperfections prior to painting
- Protect floors, fixtures, appliances, and surrounding surfaces using drop cloths and masking materials
- Mix and match paint colors to standard property specifications
- Maintain and clean painting tools, equipment, and work areas after each job
- Follow all safety procedures, including proper ventilation and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Collaborate with maintenance and property teams to prioritize unit readiness and project timelines
- Assist with painting common areas, hallways, and exterior touch-ups as needed
- Previous experience as an interior or residential painter preferred
- Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting methods
- Ability to use painting tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, fast high-quality finishes
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
- Basic drywall repair and maintenance knowledge preferred
- Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift materials for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- On-Site Reporting
- Expected to be at one or more properties throughout the week or as the business dictates.
