Job Summary

950 Management is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Apartment Interior Painter to join our maintenance team. This role is responsible for preparing and painting apartment units and common areas to ensure a clean, fresh, and move-in-ready appearance for residents. The ideal candidate takes pride in quality workmanship, works efficiently to meet unit turn deadlines, and contributes to maintaining the overall presentation of our communities.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, patching, caulking, and priming walls, ceilings, trim, and doors
• Paint interior surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, ensuring a high-quality finish
• Perform unit turns, including repainting apartments to company standards within designated timelines
• Repair minor drywall damage, including holes, cracks, and imperfections prior to painting
• Protect floors, fixtures, appliances, and surrounding surfaces using drop cloths and masking materials
• Mix and match paint colors to standard property specifications
• Maintain and clean painting tools, equipment, and work areas after each job
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper ventilation and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Collaborate with maintenance and property teams to prioritize unit readiness and project timelines
• Assist with painting common areas, hallways, and exterior touch-ups as needed
  
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous experience as an interior or residential painter preferred
• Strong knowledge of surface preparation techniques and painting methods
• Ability to use painting tools such as brushes, rollers, and spray equipment
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver consistent, fast high-quality finishes
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines
• Basic drywall repair and maintenance knowledge preferred
• Physical ability to stand, bend, climb ladders, and lift materials for extended periods
• Strong work ethic and reliability

• Expected to be at one or more properties throughout the week or as the business dictates.
