A global Japanese company is seeking an
FP&A & Business Planning Associate / Senior Associate
to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business performance management.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in financial analysis, accounting, or corporate finance, with the ability to provide financial insights that support business decisions and profitability improvement.
Japanese language skills are highly desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support budgeting, financial forecasting, and business planning activities.
Analyze financial performance, including sales, operating expenses, profitability, and cash flow.
Prepare financial reports, variance analysis, and KPI reports for management.
Develop financial models to support strategic business decisions and investment opportunities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and business improvement.
Support cash flow planning, working capital analysis, and financial reporting improvements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3 years of experience in FP&A, Accounting, Corporate Finance, or Financial Analysis preferred.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling.
Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Experience in retail, consumer goods, or multi-location businesses is a plus.
