Global manufacturer of PET bottle production machinery, providing high-precision equipment and technical support to customers across North America. This role supports in-house molding operations and technical service activities at the Smyrna facility.
- Support molding operations including mold trials, process setup, validation, and optimization
- Troubleshoot and repair machines, molds, and ancillary equipment
- Work with polymer materials and mold design fundamentals
- Maintain records of trials, processes, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with internal teams and global engineering/support groups
- Assist with equipment preparation, inventory tracking, and shipping readiness
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and customers
- 2–3 years of experience with injection molding or plastics manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics
- Troubleshooting and hands-on equipment experience
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plastics Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Travel: 10–20% (primarily North America, occasional international)
- Must have valid driver’s license and ability to travel
