Essential Job FunctionsMarket Analysis
- Research market conditions and conduct feasibility studies to determine and update market demand for existing and new products (market trends, scale, pricing, etc.).
- Gather, analyze, and compare competitor data, including products, activities, marketing efforts, and pricing.
- Determine customer viability and potential for new business.
- Ensure the Company remains compliant with applicable regulations as a pump manufacturer.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet corporate goals.
- Create budgets for sales activities.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, external consultants, engineers, and distributors.
- Contact potential customers via email, phone, and in-person sales calls to introduce products, assess interest, provide quotations, and negotiate terms to secure orders.
- Prepare for and attend trade shows to engage potential customers, introduce company products, and follow up via email and phone sales calls.
- Develop advertising, marketing, and presentation materials.
- Research, identify, and meet potential customers and after-sales service agents.
- Make presentations to consultants and customers with engineering support.
- Forecast, prepare, and monitor budgets.
- Investigate and resolve customer problems.
- Monitor distributor accounts receivable and business viability; coordinate activities regarding delinquent accounts.
- Monitor and evaluate distributor performance; provide direction and guidance for improvement.
- Oversee action plans for pump installations.
- Coordinate with customers, distributors, agents, and internal/external parties on sales activities, project status, and related matters.
- Prepare and submit marketing research, action plans, budgets, cost control plans, sales activity, inventory, and expense reports to the Sales Manager.
- Prepare and submit monthly project reports to the Sales Manager.
- Prepare and submit meeting minutes for meetings attended.
- Develop and prepare technical documentation targeted to the U.S. market.
- Prepare and review contracts; identify potential risks in coordination with external attorneys.
- Analyze and provide recommendations regarding product liability risk.
- Seek continuous improvement; identify more efficient and cost-effective work methods.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned by management.
- Maintain high ethical standards in the workplace.
- Report irregular issues and problems to supervisors for resolution.
- Maintain effective communication with supervisors, staff, and external contacts.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.

QualificationsEducation & Work Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.S.) in a related field from a four-year college or university, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum 2–3 years of related experience and/or training.
- Must have 2–3 years of previous experience in a similar position.
- General office equipment (phones, fax, copier, scanner, postage machine, personal computer, etc.).
- Software: Windows operating system and Microsoft Office applications.
Salary : $60,000 - $90,000
