Key Responsibilities
- Prepare management reports and business updates for headquarters in Japan.
- Support the development and execution of annual business plans and mid-term business strategies.
- Assist in the preparation of materials for business review meetings and management conferences.
- Support investment proposal development, financial analysis, and related documentation.
- Monitor business performance and provide analysis to management.
- Coordinate and communicate with stakeholders in both the U.S. and Japan.
- Ensure business planning activities are aligned with corporate objectives and strategic direction.
- Assist management with various planning and reporting initiatives as required.
Required
- Business-level Japanese and English communication skills, with the ability to prepare reports and presentations in Japanese.
- Educational background or professional experience in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience in financial analysis, accounting, business planning, corporate planning, or related functions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must have prior professional accounting and/or finance experience in the United States.
- Experience working for a Japanese or Japanese-affiliated company.
- Experience communicating with corporate headquarters in Japan.
- Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting processes.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
