Position Summary
The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment and background investigation processes for Tribal Government, Rolling Hills Clinic, Paskenta Mad River Brewing, Paskenta Brewery & Distillery and other non-gaming Tribal Enterprises. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will develop recruiting strategies to meet staffing needs. On an annual basis, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator develops recruitment plans, including candidate sourcing and audit activities. A key element of this position is reducing the vacant days for open positions and expediting the recruitment process to the greatest extent possible.
As the oversight for RHC recruiting, the Talent Acquisition Coordinator creates targeted recruitment strategies to attract top-tier healthcare and other professionals across various specialties and positions. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator assists the Human Resources Manager in Provider recruitment as assigned. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator may work with outside sourcing or recruiting agencies as assigned by the Human Resources Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Leads and coordinates the recruitment process across a variety of open roles by sourcing, posting jobs, reviewing resumes, interviewing, filling positions, new hire orientation, performing reference checks and retaining quality candidates.
- Responsible for completing all new hire data entry into the HRIS and completing new hire checklists and onboarding documentation processes.
- Maintain database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, hired, and fired employees, and other designations.
- Maintain competency for fingerprint rolling, background adjudication and maintenance of background files and permanent records.
- Provide coaching and guidance and assistance to supervisors and managers on the recruitment process, interviewing techniques and non-discriminatory practices.
- Works closely with the Rolling Hills Credentialing department on validation of data and data integrity for all credentialing requirements for Clinicians.
- Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs for every role.
- Assist managers in the development of interview questions. Prepare modified job descriptions when directed.
- Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative strategies to find quality candidates and prospects for new business.
- Constructs and develops an efficient recruitment system for Paskenta and its entities.
- Assists with temp agencies to provide employee services, such as temporary employees and locum providers.
- Assists the HR Director and/or Manager with job offers and new hire onboarding for providers and executive positions that require contracts or negotiated terms.
- Assists with ensuring compliance with organization and mandated training.
- Participates and assists with all HR departmental events or company sponsored programs.
- Responsible for drafting and maintaining all SOP’s related to all aspects of recruitment.
- Required to maintain HIPAA certification.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in human resources management or related field and 2 years of work experience with full life cycle recruiting in a fast- paced HR office; or 6 years recruiting experience.
- THRP certified or ability to attain within the first year of employment.
- Knowledge of employment laws, background processing requirements under PL 101-630 and related practices.
- Working knowledge of human resources practices, processes, procedures, and principles.
- Experience working for a Tribal Government or Tribal Enterprise.
- Certified Background Adjudicator or ability to attain certification for Background Adjudication and pass the requirements under the California Department of Justice Code of Regulations to access Criminal Offender Record Information within 6 months of hire.
- Valid California Driver’s license.
- The ability to work independently under minimal supervision is required.
