General Description
JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN INVENTORY SPECIALIST!
This role involves responsible work in the operation of a moderate to large size warehouse.
Essential Job Functions
Receives and properly stores a variety of supplies, materials, and equipment. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, or other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks. Enters requisitions and receipt of supplies into a computerized inventory system. Performs daily cycle counts. Purchases, receives, secures, and issues non-stock items. Assists in quarterly and year end inventory counts. Ability to operate small to medium sized forklifts and small to large sized trucks. Performs repairs of small tools. Maintains a clean and safe storeroom and work area, including outside yard/property. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Performs related work as required.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
PHYSICAL SKILLS: Ability to climb, bend, stoop, walk, and squat frequently. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Ability to climb a flight of stairs. Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication.
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Graduation from high school or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma. One (1) year of experience in warehousing which includes inventory and record keeping. Personal computer experience is required. Experience in making minor repairs on small tools and equipment.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess a valid Florida driver's license.

- Knowledge of a variety of materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Ability to make arithmetical calculations with speed and accuracy.
- Ability to work with a large and complex computerized inventory system.
- Ability to keep inventory and stock control records and to prepare reports.
- Ability to operate computer terminal to maintain inventory and stock control.
- Ability to operate small to medium sized forklifts and small to large sized trucks.
- Ability to repair small tools, such as saws, weed eaters, pressure washers, etc.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
