Position: Homemaker

Compensation: $17.00/hour

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule & Location: Client’s home located in Arvada, CO 80003. Tuesdays 10a-3:15p ; Thursdays 10a-3p

Purpose: To provide daily support to a male client, assisting with activities of daily living. As a Homemaker, you will provide unskilled household services in order to maintain a healthy and safe environment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Follow the Plan of Care established by the RN and consumer.
• Change linens and/or make the bed.
• Complete consumer’s laundry.
• Perform routine light cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning bathrooms/kitchen, removing trash).
• Assist with grocery shopping.
• Prepare meals and wash dishes.
• Maintain timely records of home visits per PASCO policy and regulatory requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and PASCO administration.
• Attend meetings and stay informed of updates, policies, and procedures.
• Proactively report clinical questions, compliance concerns, or special circumstances.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain strict consumer privacy and confidentiality.
• Comply with all rules and regulations set forth by State, Federal, and PASCO administration.
• Perform other duties as assigned by PASCO’s nursing administration.
  
  

Requirements

Position Information & Requirements

• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance.
• Prior home health experience (preferred).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Punctual and dependable.
• Ability to use a mobile app for timekeeping.
• Flexibility if client relocates within Arvada, CO to live independently.
  
  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Stamina to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and twist at the hips.
• Visual and auditory acuity to assess needs and respond promptly.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions given by the client.
