Full Time, Benefit Eligible
ESE and K-5 certification required
The individual in this position will support an assigned caseload of students and will, at times, function as the classroom teacher and teacher of record.
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for coordinating, developing, and monitoring the development and implementation of behavioral services and social skills programs for students with disabilities in accordance with District, state, and federal requirements.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in education or related field
- Trained in applied behavior analysis or agreement to complete the district approved training within a designated timeframe
- Trained in district approved positive behavioral strategies used to prevent or deescalate behavior or an agreement to complete the training within a designated timeframe
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate in an exceptional student education area, school psychologist, or guidance and counseling
