JOB SUMMARY
The Program Coordinator will support Dispute Resolution team within the Student Support Programs and Services office. This role involves coordinating processes and providing guidance related to dispute resolution matters in special education.
EDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in the field of Education, or related field that aligns with area of assignment
- Training or experience in administration of instructional, instructional support programs, or experience that aligns with area of assignment
- Three years’ related professional experience in the area of assignment
- OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Florida Educator Certification or licensure that aligns with the area of assignment or equivalent leadership training, licensure, or experience as required
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Formal dispute resolution practices, including:
- State-Facilitated Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- State Complaints
- Due Process procedures
