Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of commercial construction projects, with a focus on government contracts.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, scopes of work, and documentation.
- Coordinate all phases of construction, including permitting, subcontractor management, and site logistics.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, owners, and inspectors to ensure all project requirements are met.
- Monitor subcontractor performance, quality control, and project safety in compliance with OSHA and client-specific regulations.
- Oversee procurement of materials and subcontractor agreements in alignment with project needs.
- Ensure accurate reporting through project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project).
- Identify risks and proactively resolve conflicts or delays impacting project timelines or budget.
- Maintain regular communication with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Ensure strict adherence to government regulations, life safety codes, and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction project management, preferably with government clients.
- Proven success managing projects valued between $1M and $10M.
- Strong knowledge of commercial construction practices, building codes, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Primavera).
- Excellent leadership, team coordination, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to interpret and manage contracts, specifications, and construction documents.
- PMP, CCM, or other certifications preferred but not required.
- Must be eligible to pass background checks for government or secure-site projects.
