We’re not looking for a social media manager. We’re looking for someone who can make things people actually want to watch.
PartyPlace sits at the center of one of the most social behaviors there is: going out with friends.
We already see thousands of people come through the platform every month. Now we want to reach them before they ever search and be top of mind next time they need us.
This role is about building that content engine from scratch. You’ll take real moments, internet trends, chaotic group dynamics, and turn them into content that feels native, fun, and worth sharing.
We’re not building a content calendar. We’re trying to make content that's simply entertaining and drives awareness.
What You’ll Do:
- Own top-of-funnel content across TikTok, Instagram, Reels, etc.
- Come up with ideas and turn them into content fast
- Post a lot of content. Learn fast. Repeat.
- Be comfortable shooting, editing, and posting content yourself
- Be comfortable on camera as part of the content when it makes sense
- Spot what’s working online and remix it for PartyPlace
- Turn winning ideas into series people come back for
- Build the foundation for a real content engine over time
- Work directly with founders; quick feedback, no layers, just making content and posting
What We’re Looking For:
- You’ve grown something before (account, brand, personal page, etc.)
- You make content, not just plan it
- You’re scrappy and like figuring things out as you go
- You’re plugged into internet culture (and ideally NYC going-out culture)
How We Think About This Role:
- More shots on goal > perfect shots
- We care way more about learning than looking polished
- Volume → signal → iteration → scale.
- There’s no playbook here. That’s the point.
- You won’t be managing a calendar and waiting for approvals. You’ll be testing, posting, learning, and doing it again. It moves fast. Sometimes messy. Sometimes chaotic. That should sound fun
