Description:DescriptionThe Healthy Families and Parent As Teachers Program Assistant provides vital administrative and logistical support to ensure the smooth operation of the organization’s programs and services in Morris County. This role works closely with program staff, clients, and community partners to coordinate activities, maintain records, and assist with communications and reporting. The Program Assistant plays a key role in supporting day-to-day program functions, helping to organize activities/events, manage data, and respond to inquiries. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to the mission and values of the organization.Essential FunctionsEnter data in a timely and accurate manner into a web-based information systemCoordinate data collection and compile data for reportsConduct Quality Assurance calls/surveys to participantsConduct pregnancy testing for program recruitment, including providing prenatal care referralsConduct outreach and entering outreach disposition as neededProvide coverage for home visitation services when requestedPrepare home visiting documentationSchedule assessments and home visit appointmentsCoordinate participant workshops/events, as needed Travel to events, client’s homes, and/or meetingsAttend Community Advisory Board (CAB) and Community Network Association (CNA) meetingsOther DutiesPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
