Primary Responsibilities:
- Processes HR paperwork, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established procedures.
- Responds to employee and manager inquiries regarding HR matters and assists with form completion.
- Maintains and updates employee records in HRIS or manual systems.
- Provides administrative support in specific HR areas like compensation, employment, benefits, training, and program administration.
- Acts as a resource for HR information and communicates updates to employees.
- Updates Org Charts monthly.
- Manages attendance for HR team.
- Makes all essential updates to the HR Gateway and to Teams folders.
- Manages expenses as needed for the team.
- Creates monthly birthday and anniversary reporting.
- Administers PeopleSoft Security access. Works with multiple cross-functional teams and departments (e.g., Employment, IT, and Supply) to grant and terminate access to the system. Completes and processes PS Security paperwork and obtains approval signatures before granting access. Verifies access. Troubleshoots report distribution lists concerns with IT. Tracks and maintains data on security access and provides quarterly security audit report to IT for compliance with policy.
- Keeps forms updated.
- Creates and tracks JIRA tickets.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Job Competencies:
Knowledge of: Fundamental HR principles and practices; relevant employment laws and regulations; data entry and record-keeping procedures.
Skill in: Using HRIS and related programs to support various HR functions; data entry and record-keeping; attention to detail and accuracy; problem-solving and critical thinking; prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines; organization and time management; interpersonal communication. Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite and other relevant software programs.
