Comp: $65,000–$75,000 | Temp-to-Perm

On-site to start, then hybrid / mostly remote

We are working with a well-established real estate project management firm that’s growing its accounting team and adding an Accounting Associate. This role supports a busy, active project portfolio and is a great fit for someone who likes project-based accounting, wants real responsibility, and is looking for long-term growth.

There’s an on-site training period at the start. Once you’re up to speed, the role moves to a hybrid or mostly remote schedule based on performance and workload.

What you’ll actually be doing

• Managing AP for 100 active real estate projects
• Reviewing, coding, and processing detailed, multi-line invoices tied to contracts and POs
• Working closely with Project Managers and Project Accountants to make sure costs align with contracts and budgets
• Reconciling subcontractor and T&M invoices against agreements and scheduled values
• Flagging discrepancies, communicating clearly, and helping drive resolution
• Preparing and sending internal and client invoices
• Helping improve AP and project accounting processes as the team continues to scale

What they’re looking for

• 3 years in project-based or construction accounting
• Comfortable handling high-volume, detail-heavy AP
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience
• Someone who communicates clearly and works well across teams
