Shift Supervisor

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shift Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations within a fast-paced contract logistics environment. This role is responsible for coordinating operational activities, monitoring performance, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and working closely with an operations partner to achieve service and productivity goals. This is a floor leadership role focused on execution and problem-solving rather than direct employee supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily inbound, outbound, picking, packing, or value-added operations.
• Monitor productivity, quality, and service level performance.
• Coordinate with operational partners to ensure staffing and workflow meet business needs.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and customer requirements.
• Participate in shift meetings, handoffs, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate operational documentation and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–5 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience.
• Experience in contract logistics, 3PL/4PL, or outsourced operations preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse processes, WMS systems, and operational KPIs.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead operations and influence outcomes without direct supervisory authority.

Preferred Experience

• High-volume distribution, fulfillment, or sort center operations.
• Lean, continuous improvement, or process optimization experience.
