Position:

• Sit-Down / Reach Forklift Operators
• Material Handler

Shift/ Hours:

• 1st Shift: 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM

*50-55 hours/week

Pay Rate: $17.50 – $19.50 per hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate sit-down propane and diesel forklifts in outdoor conditions
• Load and unload materials onto vans, trailers, and flatbeds using forklifts
• Set up and calibrate machinery for mulch, soil, and case goods production
• Perform routine machine operations and minor troubleshooting
• Assist in loading and unloading products onto the production line for packaging
• Fill bags with soil, dirt, or mulch, ensuring proper sealing and preparation for shipment
• Shrink-wrap and organize bags for distribution and transport
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper materials are available for production
• Maintain a clean and safe work area, including equipment and machinery
• Follow all safety protocols while operating forklifts, machinery, and working on the production floor

Requirements:

• Forklift Operators: 1-2 years of experience (recertification available)
• Material Handler: 1-2 years with material handling in a manufacturing or production setting preferred
• Ability to work in fluctuating weather conditions (hot, cold, dirt, and mud)
• Must be able to lift and carry materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work overtime and Saturdays when required
