Partners Personnel is hiring skilled Forklift Operators (PIT) for a leading logistics and distribution client in North Haven, CT. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced forklift professionals seeking to start IMMEDIATELY, to grow within an organized, and safety-focused warehouse environment.

Job Title: Cherry Picker / Forklift Operator (PIT)

Location: North Haven, CT

Pay Rate: $18.35/hr

Shifts Available:

• B Shift: 6:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Wednesday to Saturday

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
• Use the cherry picker to load and off load products
• Load, unload, transport, and stage products to designated areas.
• Verify inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and inspect for damage.
• Use handheld scanners or RF equipment for warehouse management system compliance.
• Perform daily maintenance inspections on equipment and report issues promptly.
• Work cooperatively with team members to meet productivity and safety goals.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and organized work area at all times.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Minimum of 2 years Cherry Picking experience required
• Minimum of 2 years of forklift operating experience required.
• Must hold current forklift certification.
• Experience with RF scanning and warehouse management systems preferred.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Prior experience in a food-grade or high-volume warehouse environment preferred.
