Warehouse Operator – Forklift / Oil & Gas Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Warehouse Operator with forklift experience and a background in the oil and gas industry to support daily warehouse, material handling, shipping, and receiving operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, organized, physically capable, and comfortable working around industrial materials and equipment.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to determine materials and products to be moved, picked, staged, or distributed.
  • Pull and prepare products for shipment, verifying the exact quantity, type, and condition of materials being loaded.
  • Sort and place materials on racks, shelves, or in designated bins according to size, type, product code, or other established procedures.
  • Assemble customer orders from warehouse stock and stage materials for packing or shipment according to pick sheets and work instructions.
  • Load, unload, move, stack, and stage products and materials using forklifts, clamp trucks, pallet jacks, and other powered warehouse equipment.
  • Safely handle and transport industrial materials, equipment, components, and supplies commonly used in oil and gas operations.
  • Inspect products and materials for visible damage and report discrepancies or damaged items to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and ensure materials are stored in their designated locations.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving activities as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and work area.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA requirements, and applicable oil and gas safety procedures.
  • Perform other warehouse and material-handling duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Minimum 3–6 months of warehouse experience and/or related training.
  • Previous forklift operation experience is required.
  • Previous experience in the oil and gas, industrial, manufacturing, or energy industry is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to safely operate forklifts and other powered material-handling equipment.
  • Ability to follow safety procedures and regulations while operating equipment.
  • Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
  • Strong attention to detail when picking, counting, staging, and shipping materials.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, pick sheets, schedules, and written instructions.
  • Ability to learn and properly operate warehouse equipment and systems.
  • Dependable attendance, strong work ethic, and a team-oriented attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in an oil and gas warehouse, yard, distribution center, or industrial facility.
  • Current or recent forklift certification.
  • Experience handling pipe, fittings, valves, pumps, tools, industrial components, or other oil and gas equipment.
  • Familiarity with warehouse inventory and shipping/receiving procedures.
  • Knowledge of basic workplace safety and material-handling practices.
Work Environment

This position requires working in an industrial warehouse and/or yard environment. Employees may be exposed to moving equipment, varying temperatures, dust, noise, and heavy materials. Proper PPE and adherence to all safety procedures are required.

Salary : $45,000 - $50,000
