Partners Luxury Homes & Construction , Voted Tampa Bays top custom home builder, is seeking a superintendent with a minimum of 5 years residential or commercial construction experience, of which 2 as an on site Superintendent. Current knowledge of local municipal regulations, inspections, and permitting in the Sarasota County area is required. Superintendents will work closely with all members of the project team and supervise all sub-contractors and vendors for each project. You will work closely with interior designers and architects to ensure that the projects / homes according to their plans. The candidate will professionally represent all field operations as the primary interface with owner and design team.
Qualifications:
- BS or MS degree in Engineering or Construction Management or Relevant Years of Experience
- Experience as a local residential new construction is a MUST!! superintendent
- Proficient computer skills in BlueBeam, ProCore, Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with project management and scheduling software: MSProject,.
- Excellent listening skills and strong communication skills
- Ability to identify and resolve complex issues
- Effective participation in a team environment
- A strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude

Responsibilities:
CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SUPERINTENDENT
JOB DESCRIPTION: All potential candidates must have experience as a local residential NEW construction is a MUST!!
Superintendents will coordinate and manage all on-site activities, as well work with project teams including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Foreman, and Field Personnel and other office departments, to deliver successful projects to owners, on time and on budget with the desired level of quality. Superintendent duties include, but are not limited to…
1. Ensure all required materials, equipment, and inspections occur to support the project schedule.
2. Responsible for site safety. Ensure the overall jobsite is safe for workers and visitors as well as manage compliance with established company safety policies.
3. Work with the project teams to budget, forecast, and manage field personnel as well as management of labor, equipment, materials, tools, and other cost considerations.
4. Prepare work plans and develop temporary facilities for the project.
5. Understand, review, and manage project plans, specifications, and manufacturer's data and execute project based upon said documentation.
6. Review construction documents for completeness and constructability.
7. Manage the overall project and 3 week look ahead schedules, including creating the master schedule and updating it on a weekly basis.
8. Generate RFI's (Requests for Information) as required to ensure completeness of the project documents and identifying and clarifying any discrepancies. Distribute RFI’s to project team and maintain a RFI Log to ensure answers are being returned in order to maintain a construction schedule.
9. Review submittals for compliance with project manual and plans, manufacturer's recommendations and code, or other standards applicable to the system. If submittals are incorrect, communicate with sub-contractor to ensure correct one is received and send to architect for review.
10. With the project team to manage the company’s quality control program for the project.
11. Conduct preconstruction planning.
12. Conduct on-site project meetings with subcontractors and construction trades lead personnel.
13. Manage subcontractors for all work performed on-site.
