Join our team as an After‑School Bus Driver and play a vital role in providing safe, dependable transportation for students participating in after‑school programs. In this position, you will operate school buses and transit vehicles, ensuring students travel comfortably and securely to and from school. Your commitment to safety, professionalism, and customer service helps create a positive experience for every rider.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate School Buses & Transit Vehicles Safely — Drive according to all traffic laws, vehicle codes, and transportation safety regulations.
  • Ensure Timely Pick‑Ups & Drop‑Offs — Transport students to designated locations, maintaining punctual and reliable route schedules.
  • Conduct Pre‑Trip Inspections — Check brakes, lights, signals, tires, and emergency equipment to ensure vehicle safety before each route.
  • Respond to Emergencies — Follow established emergency procedures and react quickly to traffic changes, incidents, or unexpected situations.
  • Communicate Effectively — Coordinate with students, parents, and school staff to maintain smooth operations and address concerns.
  • Maintain Accurate Documentation — Complete trip logs, attendance records, incident reports, and vehicle maintenance forms in accordance with organizational policies.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • School bus/van driving: 5 years (Required)

License/Certification:

  • drivers license (Required)

Work Location: In person

Salary : $15 - $18
