What are the responsibilities and job description for the Member Care Coordinator position at Partners In Care?
- Coordinate and participate with Warm Houses
- Prepare and post flyers
- Document and monitor all earned/used hours
- Identify leadership volunteers
- Coordinate with management at independent living organizations as to topics of interest
- Work with other non-profits and other agencies within the county
- Advocate for PIC members
- Identify resources/references for older adults
- Assist in PIC corporate office when not at an event
- Fulfill additional administrative duties as assigned
- Responsible for presenting PIC’s culture of engaging members and empowering them
Required skills
- Self-starter, team player, and strong organizational skills
- Experience in the aging field and/or nonprofit setting
- Comfortable using multi-line telephone system
- Comfortable using computers/smartphones
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to document effectively in computer databases / attention to detail
- Ability to engage our members and increase participation
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Collaborate effectively with all members of PIC team
