Citizen Care Inc., a subsidiary of Partners For Quality Inc., provides residential, day program, habilitation, supported employment opportunities and behavioral support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. We are a non-profit organization, accredited by the Council on Quality & Leadership. Citizen Care has locations throughout the West Hills and South Hills of Allegheny County.

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) will be responsible for assisting individuals with their activities of daily living in a residential home setting. Duties include, but are not limited to assisting each person with:

Helping people to realize their hopes and dreams
Personal hygiene needs, including bathing and toileting
Medical appointments
Administering prescribed medications
Meal preparation, cooking and following prescribed diet
Household chores such as laundry, vacuuming and dusting
Participating in community life such as shopping, leisure activities and visiting family and friends
Providing supervision to assure safety and welfare

Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED
Must be 18 years of age or older
Reliable means of transportation
Driver's license
The ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
Act 34 and if applicable, FBI clearances

Experience is not required!

Maximum Compensation

USD $17.00/Hr.

Salary : $17
