Parsons is now hiring for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our St Louis Transportation team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand in your technical skillset, working alongside a world-class team of civil engineers on major regional infrastructure projects!

Job Description
Parsons is now hiring for a Senior Bridge Engineer to join our St Louis Transportation team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to expand in your technical skillset, working alongside a world-class team of civil engineers on major regional infrastructure projects!
What You'll Be Doing
- Perform conventional and moderately complex bridge engineering tasks and particularly important engineering work efficiently and accurately.
- May be assigned to a project or organizational team, or as a lead engineer for a specific discipline on a small to intermediate-size project.
- Provides input and technical guidance to CAD Designer/Drafters, Designers, and lower-level Engineers working on the same project.
- Commitment to quality and continuous improvement through innovation, creative thinking and improved results.
- Establish and maintain cooperative and productive relationships with all employees, clients and other stakeholders.
- 8 years or more of related work experience (DOT bridge engineering and design)
- BS in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis is required
- MS in Structural Engineering is desirable but not required
- PE licensure required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient knowledge of MS Office and Microstation or AutoCAD
- Comprehensive knowledge of industry standard and specialty bridge design and analysis software
